Had a wonderful opportunity to attend the Arizona Concourse de Elegance. I saw things there, and it was good.

AZ is actually a HUGE collector car area, probably because of the climate, and the number of wealthy individuals living in Scottsdale. This event was the kick off to the Collector Car Auction Week, where many wealthy individuals will spend more money than i will make in my lifetime on a car which they will never drive.

I'm bummed that I didn't know about this. If I can figure out how to dump my Barrett Jackson photos from Sunday I'll make sure to get them up. Always fun this time of year in AZ with all the car auctions and supercross falling the same weekend.

I'm not sure where R&M will be. This was at the Biltmore Hotel. Sadly i couldn't stay for the auctions but those sound fun!

This was the inaugural event, so I'm sure it will be bigger and better advertised next year. I've never been for the auctions, but i think i'll stay longer next year and check them out.

Well put! That's exactly why i loved it. I think I took more pictures of it than any other car there. I also got to see it drive around a little bit. its incredible to see something like that driving down the road next to ordinary cars.
